The Aerial Lift Bridge rehabilitation project will resume temporary nighttime closures for three nights, from June 16, 2009 through June 18, 2009.
The bridge will be placed in the up position from 1:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. during the closure period. The bridge will be opened to vehicular traffic on the hour (2:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m., and 5:00 a.m.,) to clear any waiting traffic. Additionally, the bridge will operate one-lane traffic between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. This closure is necessary to complete structural steel rehabilitation work.
